Tips on Getting Discount Theme Park Entry

If you're planning to visit Six Flags, Universal Studios or even Disney, don't pay full price for your tickets. Keep more cash in your pocket by exploring the many avenues for getting discounted park tickets. Step 1: Purchase at the best time. There are some periods every year when admission to amusement parks is offered at a reduced price. Parks will offer season passes for the coming year at the end of the current season. Check out the park or the webpage and see if there are any ticket deals. To save a lot of money on your theme park pass by getting in early!
If you're a resident of a state that is near a Disney park, such as California you can take advantage of a two-for-one deal, you'll just need to show your proof of address. The park offers a 'buy one get one free' on admission tickets. Take advantage of it when it's on, this deal isn't always available. Step 2: Hit the stores. You can often get discount theme park tickets no matter where you live, if you're aware of deals going on around you. Outlets such as Costco offer theme park admission deals at discounted prices. If you purchase your tickets before you get to your vacation, you'll likely save some money. Any theme park can be enjoyed with these deals. Step 3: Plan a trip to one of the Disney parks to celebrate your birthday. If you go to a Disney park on your birthday, it might just cost you nothing! Proof of how old you are and your date of birth is required. If that is all you have to do in order to get a free ticket to the amusement park, it is definitely worth your while! Step 4: Check online auction sites. Internet sites that host auctions like Ebay offer some very low prices on marked down theme park passes. To save money on your theme park vacation, check out Ebay's travel ads for tickets. On some you need to place a bid and on others you will be asked to "Buy it Now". You can get some theme park tickets for a low cost if you're fortunate. Step 5: Purchase spare tickets from other people. Sometimes theme park visitors do not have the time to use up their whole ticket. Some of the Park Hopper pass might still be usable. Or, maybe the ticket includes a complimentary entrance to the park in that 30-day period. Be on the lookout for families offering their unused tickets for a steal! The theme parks will have some great discounted tickets if you take time and look through the classifieds.
